Principal

Hello Lancer Families,

I am Trever Forbes, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Meadowlawn Middle School - The Lawn. In November, I joined the Lancer community as Assistant Principal for Curriculum from Bay Point Middle School where I served in the same capacity. What a privilege to lead a school with such incredible potential and a strong foundation of excellence.

With 20+ years in education, I have served in a variety of roles in different states - special education / alternative education teacher, high school and middle school teacher, district curriculum coordinator, Assistant Principal, and now Principal. I believe all of these experiences have prepared and equipped me to lead Meadowlawn Middle School well.

I'm a native of Johnston County, North Carolina (Clayton) and an alumnus of Gardner-Webb University and Mississippi College. My wife and I are the proud parents of two Pinellas County School District students, and we believe in our vision of 100% student success. In my role as Principal, I hope to serve as a catalyst for change; one that inspires all scholars to step into their full potential as leaders and learners.

Scholars and their experiences are the core of all decisions we make as a school. Lancer families, it is vital we partner together and build strong relationships between school and community - our scholar's success depends on it.
